Leland NC dental team

I enjoy knowing, every day, that I did right by a patient. It brings me great satisfaction to know I did my job correctly, was a good leader, and that each of our patients had a positive experience. I believe in our office because we focus on individualized patient care.

George, our Office Manager, and I work together to organize and oversee the office. I am in charge of our Billing Department. I handle the correspondence and patient accounts. I also do our marketing and budgeting. Additionally, I handle our payroll and accounts receivable. Like George, I’m bilingual in English and Spanish.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, then came to the States and went to High School in New Jersey. Then I attended college in Alabama and Tennessee. I hold a Bachelor’s in Biology and am a certified nurse assistant, too.

Ours is a family business. I am blessed to work with my husband, Dr. Philip Bald, and my uncle, George. Christopher Clark, who owns the practice, is my stepfather.

Dr. Bald and I have two children, Joshua and Alicia. I love my children and my husband. Everything I do is for them. I also love being outside; I’d rather travel and have adventures than material things. We’re definitely a beach family. We also love camping, and I enjoy playing tennis and swimming. My other passions include the arts (especially dance), acting, writing, and cooking.

Office Manager

I enjoy being part of an incredible team that produces beautiful, healthy smiles for our patients. This team is truly like family: the passion each has for what they do is inspiring and I love seeing how much they care for our patients. I supervise the everyday operations of our practice. I oversee scheduling, patient relations, insurance, and billing. I help our patients with finding financial terms that work for their budget and review treatment plans, too. I’m also bilingual, in English and Spanish.

My wife Norma and I have been married for more than 30 years. I have three children and three grandchildren. I retired from the Navy in 1995, am a super geek, and love dressing in costume and going to Comic-Con! Most of all, I enjoy people and making them smile.

Dental Assistant-DA II/Head Assistant

I enjoy helping so many people get the smile they always wanted. The most rewarding part of my work is seeing a patient leave the office smiling and happy with the care they’ve received. I assist Dr. Bald during dental treatments and procedures. I also take X-rays, sterilize instruments, and set up rooms with the necessary supplies. I maintain our dental equipment and am in charge of ordering supplies, too. My most important duty, though, is ensuring our patients feel safe, welcomed, and heard.

I’m a North Carolina native, born and raised in Brunswick County. My husband and I are proud parents to three beautiful children. My favorite quote is from Dr. Seuss, “Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is you-er than you!”

Front Desk Receptionist

I love our patients and meeting new people. Everyone has their own stories to share and I enjoy learning about each person’s life and family. It’s a joy to work in such an awesome environment and with incredible people. I greet patients by name and with a warm smile when they arrive. I help with scheduling, answer the phones, and pre-verify insurance coverage. I’m here to help and love doing so!

I’m proud to be the mother of my young daughter, Mia. We love going to the beach, reading, and crafting. I love coastal living. I’m originally from Syracuse, NY, and do not miss the New York snow or winters.

Dental Assistant-DA II

I enjoy being able to care for my patients, in the same manner, I would like to be cared for. It’s rewarding to be able to support, encourage, and help people as they take control of their oral health and smile. I assist patients during visits, preparing them to see Dr. Bald and explaining what will happen. Then I provide chairside assistance with procedures including restorations and cleanings. I also set up the rooms, sterilize instruments and equipment, and assist other team members. I’m cross-trained for the front desk, too.

I share my life with my two beautiful children, Neveah and Jaxton, and my soulmate, Jeffrey. I don’t have many hobbies, but I do enjoy going to concerts and spending time with my family.
